Or it's C. Which finds Romana sitting on the front steps, watching the sunset. She's bundled up in a winter coat, a glass of half drunken wine next to her, a lit cigarette in her hand. She smokes it slowly, a frown on her face as she contemplates what really happened over Valentine's Day, of what she had done. Surely it had meant nothing, really, hadn't come from any deeply hidden feelings... and yet she can't shake the fear that it was.

She had been willing to sleep with him after all. She sighs softly, smoke curling from her mouth as she takes a long sip of her wine, refilling it with the bottle nearby. Drinking the memories away does seem like a very good idea at the moment, consequences be damned.]

[ Ezio still doesn't know wtf with phones. He keeps asking the woman who's supposedly his wife about all these weird things around the house and she doesn't really answer his questions at all, just kind of laughs about her weird little husband and bakes things. Hence his wandering a lot. And hence his being bundled tight in a pea coat right now, standing lingeringly at the sidewalk and fixing Romana with a long and curious look. ]

[Romana glances up, her instinctive reaction to correct him. So she does.] Signora, not madonna. The man in the house isn't my husband in anywhere but this town.

[That settled, she glances over him again, tapping the ash off her cigarette. She can't feel the bond that she usually would with one of her people, but he used Italian so that must mean...] Italiano, sì?

[The query about her obvious confusion is ignored. She may have started drinking, but as of yet she hasn't consumed enough to truly loosen her tongue, not with a stranger.]

Really? That's quite a few family members you have here, for both good and bad. Still, I think that it would be a good idea. If it's okay though, would it be possible to ask you about a few recipes? I'm an okay cook, but there are no decent Italian cookbooks here. I'd be willing to pay too, if you would need to set a price for them.
